POINT

FIRST WE NOTICED HOW IMPRESSIVE AND BEAUTIFUL CONVENTIONAL CESM-I BULBUL PATTERN IS, AND THEN STARTED TO EXPERIMENT HOW IT WOULD BE IF WE BLEW THE PATTERN ONLY ON CERTAIN HIGHLIGHTED POINTS ON CLEAR GLASS. WELL, THIS IS HOW WE CAME UP WITH OUR POINT DESIGN.

ANTI-ENVY EVIL EYE

OUR AIM WAS TO RE-DESIGN THE EVIL EYE WHILE KEEPING ITS TRADITIONAL MEANING AS SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN A PART OF OUR LIVES SINCE THE DAY WE WERE BORN. WE WANTED THE EVIL EYE TO BECOME A WORK OF ART CREATED BY OUR GLASSBLOWING EFFORTS. THE NAME OF OUR ARTIFACT IS INSPIRED BY A BUMPER STICKER, WHICH IS NOTICEABLY POPULAR WITH TURKISH TRUCK DRIVERS: “ENVY IS THE ENEMY OF HARD WORK”.

STONE

WE DECORATED THE NATURAL STONE FORM, WHICH IS THE CRYSTAL OF NATURE, WITH PATTERNS MADE WITH TRADITIONAL CRYSTAL CUTTING TECHNIQUE, AND DESIGNED IT TO SERVE AS A CANDLE HOLDER OR A TABLE TOP ACCESSORY.

LENS

WE BENEFITED FROM THE LENS FEATURE OF GLASS AND ITS VISCOSITY TO EMPHASIZE THE BEAUTY OF CESM-I BULBUL TECHNIQUE IN THIS GLASS, WHICH OWES ITS UNIQUENESS TO ITS NATURALLY FOLDS.
